Champions for Children -- Peru
Since 2003 Peace and Hope Partnership International, Park Avenue Seeking International Justice (PASIJ) and Paz y Esperanza and others have partnered to:
  • Provide legal, psychological and other services to almost 300 women and children who have suffered violence;
  • Provide education and advocacy for children, women, parents and families regarding sexual and domestic violence;
  • Provide education and training to public officials on sexual and domestic violence; and,
  • Assist in the capture and prosecution of dozens of sexual and domestic violence perpetrators.

Paz y Esperanza provides one-of-a-kind services so that these children, youth and young women may:

  • Be emotionally strengthened and restored;
  • Become psychosocially rehabilitated and successfully reintegrate into society;
  • Receive on-going counseling;
  • Receive different types of therapy to reduce the symptoms of trauma caused by the abuse;
  • Receive legal support and representation to pursue prosecution of the aggressor;
  • Receive training in small-business and employment skills; and,
  • Continue on with their school studies.

You can help too by praying, contributing and visiting Paz y Esperanza in Peru. Learn how by clicking on the items to your right.
